Meet Victoria, Founder of Simply Reiki

Victoria Adekoya founded Simply Reiki in 2012 after a life changing spiritual awakening where she remembered her purpose- to be a healer.
As a child she was highly energetically sensitive and had to learn how to protect her energy from an early age. She was drawn to esoteric study before age 10 and began meditating, connecting with nature and invoking the Archangels by 11. Her parents were not spiritual or super religious. At age 13 she lost touch with her connection and went down a path that led to a lot of sorrow. She had repressed childhood trauma and a tumultuous up bringing that created deep rooted anger, unworthiness, and self sabotaging behaviors. At the age of 21 she hit rock bottom, fell to her knees, and prayed for something more. She meditated for the first time since she was 13 and was given the profound gift of experiencing union with the universe. |

The next 7 days were the most challenging and rewarding of her life. She went into what would medically be called psychosis but was taught many important spiritual lessons. During her vision quest she learned how energy moves, how it connects all things, how the Angels and other loving beings help to keep harmony. How we must take from the earth and give back in balance. How our mind's perception powerfully creates our reality. She was challenged and tested, she had to release her attachment to life and accept death which thankfully didn't happen. She had to atone for all of the hurt that she had caused, face her darkest fear, and learn the power of surrender.
It was during her darkest hour that she met her spirit guide/guardian angel, Rose. She helped Victoria learn to integrate the lessons and to ground her awareness back into this dimension. A few days after her visions ended, while visiting her very relieved dad, she heard audibly "You're meant to be a healer."
From that day forward she has devoted her life to the creator, humanity, and that purpose. Victoria is a Certified Reiki Master Teacher- 5th Generation Student of the Usui Lineage, Theta Healer, Akashic Record healer, Past Life Regressionist, Hypnotherapist, Pranic healer, crystal healer, womb healer, Munay Ki initiate, Karuna Reiki Master, Angelic Channeler, Quantum Touch healer and will forever be a student of the divine.

Meet Tyrone, Co-Owner of Simply Reiki

Tyrone Adekoya is a certified Reiki Master, Meditation Teacher, Sound Healer and Spiritual Coach. Tyrone is a 6th Generation Student of the Usui Reiki lineage.
Since he was young, Tyrone always felt different. He grew up feeling like the black sheep of his family, at church, at school.. he never quite fit in. He often thought about things that most of his family and peers just didn't.. He had questions about the Universe... How does it work? Where do I fit in all of this? Why are we here? Whats the purpose of it all?... It seemed like these questions never left his mind. He spent hours on end reading, researching, listening to spiritual teachers, while intriguing he still felt that something was missing. No one could answer his questions to his satisfaction and if anything came close-his logical reason would tear it apart. Tyrone had a rough start in life, both of his parents were addicts and he endured a lot of trauma with little to no resources to help him through. There were a lot of hard days and little hope, living in the routine of what was expected or surviving really. |

Finally in 2010 after falling into a deep 4 year depression, Tyrone gave up his pursuit and entered into unknown territory-surrender. When he did, he found meaning in the smallest acts of kindness, a smile from a stranger, a genuine have a nice day, the blossom of a flower. It clicked. Suddenly everything the spiritual teachers had been saying had new life and new meaning, Tyrone had new life and new meaning. He began to meditate daily, he began to purge old beliefs and old emotions. He began working with plant medicine to facilitate deeper healing for himself and found his passion to help others find their own answers and dig themselves out of an all too familiar hole.
Tyrone is a powerful & empathetic healer. He uses his gifts and life lessons to help lead those who are searching for answers (like he once did) in discovering their personal Truth to reach their higher Purpose & Power to raise their vibration. Kendra McClaine is a Certified Reiki Master and Esthetician. Her primary focus is energy healing and holistic wellness. She is passionate about helping individuals achieve balance, relaxation, and inner harmony through healing and feeling their best
self. Specializing in breathwork, sound therapy, meditation, and therapeutic touch, she guides individuals on an inward journey, cultivating a space for peace and tranquility in her clients lives. In addition to her holistic healing training she completed her Executive MBA here in Houston at Texas Southern University. Kendra is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for clients to embark on their personal healing journey. She is skilled at assessing and addressing energetic imbalances as well as promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Dedicated to continuous growth and learning in the field of energy healing to better serve and supporting our clients, she is continuously expanding her knowledge. |

Her impactful writings extend to a heartfelt children's book addressing hearing loss, inspired by her daughter's journey. These literary works exemplify Kendra's commitment to spreading awareness and knowledge. She is a holistic healer with a profound influence who loves working with both adults and children.
