No prior experience is required for Level I. If you feel called to learn, that's the real prerequisite. Come to a session first if you want to feel the energy before deciding to train in it, that's welcomed, not required.

Attunements given with real reverence and intention take time and attention per person. A group of 5 means every student is actually seen during the three days, not moved through a large room on a schedule.

Foundations and energy anatomy on day one: the Gokai, lineage history, how Reiki heals, chakras, meridians, and where emotions live in the body. Day two moves into hands-on practice and the traditional Japanese techniques most Western training skips entirely, including Hatsurei Hō, Jōshin Kokyū Hō, Kenyoku Hō, Byosen scanning, and Reiji Hō. Day three covers the symbols, the Okuden material, and distance Reiki to close. You receive a Reiju each day, and you practice giving and receiving Reiki throughout, not just lecture time.

The deposit is non-refundable, but your class date is transferrable if your plans change. Reach out as early as possible if you need to move your date.

Online and large-group certification programs often use "placements" rather than true attunements, a shortcut that moves away from how Usui originally transmitted the practice. Tori left an eight-year affiliation with a major training organization over exactly this issue. What you receive here is a real, traditional Usui lineage attunement, given in person, with time and intention.

An attunement is the transmission that opens you as a channel for Reiki energy. Traditional Usui attunements are given individually, with reverence and specific ritual. "Placements," used by some larger training organizations, are a faster, more generalized substitute. The practice you're able to offer afterward is shaped by how you received it, which is why this class holds to the traditional method rather than the faster one.

Three. One on each day of class, given midday. Many programs give a single attunement and send you home. Receiving Reiju three days in a row deepens the opening considerably, and it lets you feel the shift between each one. Afterward comes the 21-Day Clearing, which we cover in class so you know what to expect as your system integrates the change.

Yes. Tori remains reachable by text after class. If something comes up mid-session with a client, or something feels uncertain in your own practice, that support doesn't end when the three days do.
